digi self portrait

My self-portrait is about me as a woman in Richmond. I define myself as an outdoors and adventure driven person. I am a painter and an artist as well. Therefore in my image I wanted to include all these elements. In the image you can see I used a larger watercolor brush tool for the background. I then super imposed an image of me on a tree covered in ivy. This makes it seem I am one with nature. All the graphics were drawn by myself as well as taking the photographs myself. This self portrait signifies an abstract portrait. The image of my face is hardly visible and barely recognizable as myself. I also did not want to straight forwardly say things about myself. I wanted the viewer to look once and look again, wondering whom it may be or what things about the image might be a part of who I am

Marshall photo finishing.

On the photo finishing project, I blurred the background and heightened Marshalls eyes with and accent of blue. I put the photo in gray scale and was looking for subtle variation in the photo.

Thurman

Thurman is the antithesis of a modern day superhero. In my personal interpretation of him is he would save the children without consciously knowing it by eating all the unhealthy food in the world. Thurman is the belly of our superhero, who consumes most all of the food/trash intake. I see him as a human vaccum cleaner. Our superhero is equipped with remote controls which help him get to where he needs to go by blasting things out of the way, this is because he is too large to fit most places. I hope you all enjoy our makeshift superhero. He is very happy to eat all your trash and mcdonald's big mac's.
